Whiskers AI is designed around transparency, local ownership, inspectability, and user control.

Unlike traditional cloud AI platforms, Whiskers operates locally on systems controlled by the user and does not require hosted AI infrastructure.

The software is distributed as source-visible commercial software. Users may inspect and locally modify the software for personal or internal business use, while official releases, branding, and redistribution rights remain controlled by Chippie Bear Industries, LLC.

• Selling Whiskers or modified versions of Whiskers
• Hosting Whiskers as a commercial service without permission

• Publicly distributing modified builds as official releases
• Using Whiskers branding or logos without permission

Local-First Design

Your session logs, summaries, canon files, contracts, prompts, and runtime data remain under your control.

Whiskers is designed for local-first operation and does not intentionally upload user runtime data to Chippie Bear Industries, LLC servers.
